Derek Hermsen has been a broker at Flinn Ferguson since 1999 working solely as a tenant advocate.  By representing multiples of tenants at any given time with their various facility relocations, renewals, expansions, purchases, dispositions, and subleases, Derek is extremely in tune with current office market conditions.  He has negotiated over 150 transactions totaling approximately three-quarters of a million square feet.

Derek graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. from the School of Business with concentrations in both Finance & International Business; 1999.  He also has a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate, from the University of Washington; 2006.

Derek is involved in the Seattle community as a volunteer Diver & Beach Naturalist at the Seattle Aquarium, marine life survey diver for REEF.org, and has served on Blessed Sacrament Church's Facilities Committee since its inception in 2004.
